LaTeX versus Word for Resumes (Part 1)

Ever since drinking the Kool-Aid and switching my thesis writing from Word to LateX (TeX Live), I've wondered if it would make a better resume/CV.

LaTex is 110% worthwhile for complex structured documents, like a thesis; not entirely convinced it's worth the effort for simpler documents like resumes and cover letters.

The full-source is available on my GitHub profile [1]. Based on res package [2] and helpful examples from RPI [3].

For more insights, see Part 2 of LaTeX versus Word.
